iPhone 6 (Rumored) Features

iPhone 6 (Rumored) Features

Apple 2014 iPhone is expected to include redesigned form factor, with rumors indicating that Apple has been testing display sizes of up to six inches using curved display of some sort

Camera Addition

According to a February report, the iPhone 6 may include a megapixel sensor or higher with an aperture of f/1.8. The company may also utilize an ARTON resin filter from JSR, which is lighter and thinner than the current filter used for the iPhone 5s camera. It is also said to take clearer images

Larger Screen: Multiple Sizes In 4.7-5.7

Apple could be exploring a 4.7-inch 1600×900 with a 386 ppi screen and/or a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 with

Sapphire Crystal Screen

Apple currently uses durable and damage resistant Corning Gorilla Glass for its phones, but could switch to sapphire crystal for future displays.
Sapphire crystal, which is used for small iPhone elements like the camera lens and the home button of the 5s, has historically been prohibitively expensive to produce in larger quantities, but Apple has recently partnered with GT Advanced to ramp up sapphire production.

Design [iPhone 5c + iPod nano]?

Advancements in LED backlighting may allow apple to design a thinner, lighter iPhone 6. Apple is reportedly shifting from an 0.6mm LED backlight to a thinner 0.4mm model, giving it a bit of extra room to work with.
A recent report has indicated the upcoming iPhone could take on a design inspired by both the iPhone 5c and the current iPod nano adopting the rounded back edges, colorful casings and button design of the iPhone 5c with the anodized aluminium body of the nano

Fall 2014 Release Date

According to a recent report from Japanese business site Nikkei, the Apple may introduce its larger-screened iPhones as early as September. Based on three years of release dates, fall of 2014 is a logical target for the launch of Apple’s next iPhone.

IOS 8

Apple iOS updates generally happen alongside iPhone launches, which means the iPhone 6 will undoubtedly ship with iOS 8. Not a lot sis known about iOS 8, but some rumors have pointed to improvement to maps and possible Siri API. While we have seen some iOS 8 activity in our logs, usage remains low, suggesting that development of the operating system is still in the early stages.

Faster And More Efficient A8 Chip

The iPhone 5s incorporates a 64-bit A7 28-nanometer chip manufactured by Samsung. Apple’s iPhone 6 will reportedly incorporate a 20-nano-meter A8 chip from TSMC, which will be both smaller and more energy efficient.
The A8 chip is rumored to include both a quad-core 64 bit processor and quad-core graphics and production is said to be underway as of February 2014

Network Penetration Testing

Network Penetration Testing

Testing Your IT Defense
Network penetration testing is a critical component to an overall information security strategy. Penetration testing uncovers critical issues and demonstrates how well a network, application or information assets are protected. Below shows the steps on a penetration test and how ethical hackers vs. mom-ethical hackers will use the data found.

  1. Reconnaissance
Information is gathered about the systems to be tested – IT environment, hardware/software, people and physical locations.
  2. Scanning
Vulnerability scans against the network, applications, hardware components or physical locations to discover any obvious security flaws and potential scenarios are executed
  3. Exploitation
Exploit the vulnerabilities identified in the network, applications, systems or people (via social engineering) to gain unauthorized access to systems and data.
  4. Access
As security flaws are exposed and access to the network is available, teams utilize further methodology based on initial access to explore how far into an organisations’s infrastructure they can go and what type of information can be found and gathered. Items can include passwords, banking information, classified data and anything else that can cause damage or be stolen and exposed.
  5. Pilfer

Pen Testers vs Hackers

Pen Testers
Pen testers document all methods used, data or access granted and make recommendations for mitigating each of the attacks against IT assets. An outbriefing session is conducted to ensure complete understanding of the exploitable vulnerabilities and recommend enterprise-level strategies for remediation to help prevent your infrastructure systems from being hacked.

Hackers
Hackers are looking to make money. Whether they are stealing financial information, passwords social security numbers, etc., they are out for personal gain and in some cases, notoriety. Hackers will try to install malware, viruses and conduct phishing scams against unsuspecting individuals to begin obtaining credentials to be used against an enterprise network or application. When it’s all said and done you may have been breached and you’re left with first finding out the access point and plugging the security vulnerabilities…in addition to PR brand, damage control.

6 Talked About senses

6 Talked About senses

We all talk about the common 5 senses. Touch, Taste, Smell, Hearing and Sight. But here are 6 senses that are left off that list.

  1. Balance And Acceleration
Balance, equilibrioception, or vestibular sense is the sense that allows an organism to sense body movement, direction and acceleration and to attain and maintain postural equilibrium and balance. The organ of equilibrioception is the vestibular labyrinthine system found in both of the inner ears.
  2. Temperature
Thermoception is the sense of heat and the absence of heat (cold) by the skin and including internal skin passages or rather the heat flux (The rate of heat flow) in these areas. There are specialized receptors for cold (declining temperature) and to heat. The cold receptors play an important part in the animal’s sense of smell, telling wind direction. The heat receptors are sensitive to infrared radiation and can occur in specialized organs, for instance in pit vipers
  3. Kinesthic Sense
Proprioception, the kinesthic senses, provides the parletal cortex of the brain with information on the relative positions of the part of the body. Neurologists test this sense by telling patients to close their eyes and touch their own nose with the tip of a finger. Assuming proper proprioceptive function, at no time will the person lose awareness of where the hand actually is, even though it is not being detected by any of the other senses. Proprioception and touch are related in subtle ways and their impairment results in surprising and deep deficits and actions
  4. Other Internal Senses
An internal sense or interoception is “any sense that is normally stimulated or from within the body”, These involve numerous sensory reception in internal organs, such as stretch receptors that are neurologically linked to the brain.
  5. Time
Chronoception refers to how the passage of time perceived and experienced. Although the senses of time is not associated with a specific sensory system the work of psychologists and neuroscientists indicates that human brains do have a system governing the perception of time, composed of highly distributed system involving the cerebellum and basal ganglia. One particular component, the suprachissmatic nucleus, is responsible for the circadian (or daily) rhythm, while other cell clusters appear to be capable of shorter-range (ultradian) timekeeping
  6. Pain
Nocioception (physiological pain) signals nerve-damage or damage to tissues. The three types of pain receptors are cutaneous (skin), somatic (joints and bones), and visceral (body organs). It was previously believed that pain was simply the overloading of pressure receptors, but research in the first half of the 20th century research in the first half of the 20th century indicated that pain is distinct phenomenon that intertwines with all the other senses, includibng touch.
